|ROMPOS||Romanian Position Determination System||Local||ROU (Romania)||NACLR||ROMPOS uses signals from the following satellite systems: GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO using a network consisting of 74 CORS. 1999-The first GNSS Reference Statio (BUCU) was installed in 1999 at the Faculty of Geodesy from the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest with the support of the german Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG). 2004-The National Network of Reference Stations has an accelerated growth due to upgrading the existing stations and integrating new ones. 2005-2012-In the 2005-2012 period a network densification campaign takes place through the prrocurement managed by NACLR for new receivers and latest generation software following a homegenous distribution of site on the entire surface of Romania. The medium distance betwen the GNSS permanent stations is about 70 Km. The receivers used are capable on tracking, GPS(74), GLONASS (70) and GALILEO (9). 2006-Starting with 2006, besides BUCU European GNSS reference station (EUREF) which becomes IGS (International GNSS Service) station, Romania contributes to (European Reference Frame – European Permanent Network) by integratigs 4 more reference stations: BACA (Bacău), BAIA (Baia Mare), COST (Constanţa) and DEVA (Deva). 2018-The Order No.217/2018 regarding completing Annex no.4 for the General Director of the National Agency of Cadaster and Land Registration no. 1445/2016 states that ROMPOS administration is transferred to the National Center for Cartography. 2019-The prices of ROMPOS services are modified by Order 16/2019 and a new pltaform for rover administration is launched app.rompos.ro. In the April-May period a firmware upgrade campaign for all the receivers included in ROMPOS took place. In June 3rd the first Galileo solutions for RTK are launched.|| |
