The site logs in v2.0 format currently available at: https://gnss-metadata.eu/data/station/log_9char
will be moved on Dec. 4, 2024 to: https://gnss-metadata.eu/data/station/log
and the directory log_9char will be removed.

Key Updates in Site Logs (v2.0)

The line:

Four Character ID : (A4)

will be replaced by:

Nine Character ID : (A9)

  1. "Country" Updated to "Country or Region" in Section 2:

The line:

Country :

will be replaced by:

Country or Region : (A3)

with (A3) the Alpha-3 ISO-3166 code of the Country of region.

API Updates

All M3G API will provide site logs in the new v2.0 format.

GeodesyML Compatibility

For now, the "Country or Region" field will not be included in GeodesyML exports and GeodesyML will rely solely on the 9-character station ID for location information.

Site log uploads

For now, M3G will still accept site logs in the old format, but please start preparing to use the new format.
