  1. Go to Login page
  2. Type in your Login ID and Password
Logging in to the M3G portal allows you to upload/update metadata of your stations, agencies, networks etc. The GNSS stations can be your own stations as well as stations owned by a third-party agency that has given you a mandate to maintain their metadata in M3G.

  1. If your agency has already an account in M3G, then you can find your agency M3G Login ID online: go to the Station Metadata Maintainers page, click on (top right) and add the M3G Login ID column to the table
  2. If your agency is not in the list, then have a look at this FAQ "How to obtain a M3G account?"

  1. Go to Login page
  2. Type in your Login ID and then click on the Reset Password button
  3. All contacts designated by your agency (set up in your Edit My Agency Information form available after login) will get an email with a link to reset the password.
  4. Click on the link provided in the email and choose a new password.
If you do not receive the link via email (first check your spam filter), you are not listed in M3G as one of your agency contacts. You can ask one of your colleagues included in your agency contacts to reset the password, log in to M3G, add you to the list of agency contacts and provide you with the new M3G password.

Quick Start

  1. Go to Login page
  2. Log in to M3G using your Login ID and Password.

  1. Provide the information regarding your agency: after login, go to the agency-specific tab (top right in the website menu bar) and click on Edit My Agency Information.
  2. Fill in the information in all mandatory fields (marked with *)
  3. Enter all contacts appearing in your site logs, taking into consideration that:

    • Entering PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION (subject to EU GDPR) is possible, but discouraged. In the site log, personal contacts can only be used as Secondary contact of the On-Site, Point of Contact Agency Information and the Responsible Agency (sections 11 and 12). M3G offers some of its functionalities through a RESTful HTTP API that allows you to interact with M3G purely as data that can be uploaded, accessed, searched for, etc. via HTTP requests. At present, M3G allows you to retrieve info on a given M3G entry (i.e. a network, a station), update part of a station site log or ask a query to locate many M3G entries at the same time. In the M3G menu bar Documentation you can access the M3G API submenu, containing:
